I've just published my debut novel Hitler's Zeitmaschine and of course like all wannabees, am wondering whether it will prove good enough to gain traction amongst the ranks of the three million or so books that are published each year.
Rather than give readers a detailed account of the story (which naturally would be a bit of a spoiler), the book's back cover blurb in the image below might give one a taste of where the story is going.

I had originally wanted to title the novel Hitler's Time Machine, but on checking books for sale on Amazon I was astonished to find that not only had this title already been used, but there was also another work out there titled Hitler's Secret Time Machine.
Despite his prominence in the novel's title, Hitler plays a rather minor secondary role to the main protagonist, Karl Hartmann. This is Hartmann's story.

In future posts I'll be posting major events following publication of the book, interspersed with commentary about time travel and the genesis of the novel (Which incidentally, has taken four years to research and write). And for the benefit of any unpublished authors who happen upon  this blog, I'll also be passing on the very helpful links and advice my mentors have given me without which this book may have never seen the light of day.
